Postmortem

The wireless tower at 19th street experienced an outage. According to our monitoring systems, it went down just before 10am. Crews were dispatched and determined that a rodent had chewed through the fiber optic cable near the tower that feeds the wireless equipment. The fiber was repaired and the site came back up around 11:45a.

We have had a couple of issues with rodents in this area. We are working on reinforcing the vault and conduits to prevent future issues.
